  1. Q: How do I find what I am looking for on your webpages without difficulties or getting lost?

    A: Τhe existense of the www.travel2macedonia.com.mk website is meaningless, unless it can provide as much information needed for the residents and non-residents (foreigners, tourist, or Macedonians living abroad).

    Our web site is divided on two sections:

    1. Information on Macedonia (Why Macedonia, Facts, Getting here, Travel tips), and
    2. Information regarding: accommodation, car rental, tours, restaurants & bars - which we hope travellers are most interested.

    Our objective is to enable our website visitors to gather information regarding their trip to Macedonia easily from one source. On the first page of www.travel2macedonia.com.mk proposes:

    1. Reccommended tourist destinations and acommodation as well; After choosing your accommodation - it is very easy, just send your information and within 24 hours you will get your response;
    2. Restaurants, tavernas, cafeterias etc. that are located in the region of where you will be staying.

    Apart from the accommodation, car rental and restaurants of each sub area you still can draw information on: Tourist, historical, geographic, travel etc.

  2. Q: I am looking for a hotel that was recommended to me by a friend, but I cannot find it on your listing. If I was to give you the name of the hotel could you find its telephone number and Email address for me?

    A: If the hotel/apartment is not listed that you are searching for, then it means that we do not currently have information for that unit. We kindly request that when you communicate with this unit that you request that they submit information about their unit to us, so that we can include it in the Tourist Guide pages of our website. In this way you will assist us in making our electronic Hotel Guide better informed for the next visitor to be able to find what they are looking for.

  3. Q: I have found a hotel that I like, but on your listing you only show its telephone number. I have been trying to telephone them, but they do not reply. Can you supply me with their E-mail or Fax number?

    A: The information we have entered on our webpages about many tourist accommodation units has been obtained from various sources, from other tourist guides, books, brochures etc., and not only from the units themselves though direct contact.

    In fact, members of our staff are communicating with accommodation units to obtain more information in order to enrich the information available within our guide. From the visitors to our webpages we request your assistance with hotels and/or accommodation units you know to encourage them to contact us and thereby enabling us to include them in our guide.

  4. Q: There are two hotels that I like. On your listing there is only one picture of each one. Is it possible for you to send me more information and photographs so that I can which one I will select?

    A: Unfortunately we cannot offer more information or images of accommodation units that are not presented within our webpages. All our efforts and aims are to constantly increase the accommodation units we present on our webpages to include more information and up to 20 images of each unit within the guide.

  5. Q: I am searching for a particular accommodation (hotel, morel, apartment, etc...), I know its name, but I don’t remember in which area it’s located to find it in your listing. Can you help me?

    A: There is a search engine located in the top right sidebar of the webpage for accommodation units that are contained within the portal.

    If you enter the name or at least the first 3 or 4 letter of its name a menu will show all units alphabetically with that name. If the unit you a looking for is listed, then click on the name and then click More Details link. The program will then show the information available for that unit.

  6. Q: I have found an accommodation that I require on your list and would like to make a booking for my family. How do I do this?

    A: Booking system is cunrrently unavailable. We are building & upgrading the booking/reservation system. Try contacting the accommodation through an e-mail.

  7. Q: I notice that you have a Carousel with Recommended Accommodation. Why have these been chosen and why is it that I can only book these Accommodation?

    A: This is a group of hotels and apartments that is constantly enriched with new additions. These accommodation units have an extensive description of their services with additional photographs.

    Their operational structure offers experienced staff and services to promptly reply to your email enquiries. They are hospitality professionals offering special care and attention to their future guests.

    Making a reservation/booking with one of these recommended accommodation units is made directly with them and not through a third party.

  8. Q: Do you arrange our transfer by Taxi from the airport, bus or train station to the hotel?

    A: No. We do not offer or provide this kind of service. However we can help you managing on your own.

  9. Q: Are the rates on Travel2Macedonia per person or per room?

    A: All rates on the Travel2Macedonia.com.mk website are per person per stay, unless stated differently i.e. dormitory beds or apartment price.

  10. Q: Is breakfast included in the price?

    A: This depends on the hotel and on the room type selected. To check please see the text below each available room type.

  11. Q: Do you accept bookings for Rental cars?

    A: No. We do offer details of the companies available in each area to enable you to directly contact them and make your reservation. We have anticipated your needs by finding the Rent A Car companies operating in the area close to the accommodation unit you have chosen.

  12. Q: Are the currency rates correct?

    A: Yes. The rates are provided automatically for us by the National Bank of Republic of Macedonia database. The amount that you convert is the average (mean) value of the rate at the moment.

  13. Q: How do I get a visa for entry in Macedonia?

    A: Travel2Macedonia the portal is of informative character. However you should consider reading information about visa requirements for entry in Macedonia.
