For those who travel on their own, have in mind that after you take off the E-65, the road looks like in the middle of nowhere for a few kilometers, until the Mavrovo National Park sign, welcomes you!

If you are going to Mavrovo, where the Zare Lazarevski ski resort and most of the Mavrovo hotels are located, try search for a local minivan transport.

Unfortunately, to go in Leunovo or Nikiforovo without your own vehicle - you are on your own! Good luck ...

Mavrovo by bus

Mavrovi Anovi is the place where it's most likely to get a bus to Skopje or some other destination at any time since the village is located on the local road that leads to Debar and Gostivar and on to Skopje. Buses stop in front of the restaurants and groccery stores, which are attached one by another.
